The community of Mayfield Park in Johannesburg recently came together to honour a security officer who was killed during an ATM bombing in the area earlier this week.

A memorial was held for him on the same day when the community, his family and friends gathered at the Engen garage in Mayfield Park to honour Klopper’s memory.Hennie Els, a member of the Kliprivierberg Civic Association, only had good things to say about Klopper. “He may be gone, but will never be forgotten. A father, brother, friend and hero. Bertie’s memorial was a touching event that brought the community together to honour one of its fallen heroes.”Klopper was a beloved member of the Fox Security family where he served with distinction and was admired for his exemplary work ethic and compassionate nature.

The incident is currently under investigation by local law enforcement. Fox Security is cooperating fully with authorities to ensure that justice is served and to prevent such tragedies in the future.
