78.2% matric pass rate for Class of 2018The pass rate is an improvement on the year before. The class of 2017 achieved a 75.1% pass rate, itself an improvement from the 72.5% pass rate in 2016. Minister you need to attend graduation ceremonies at universities, they paint a different picture. What happens to these students before they reach the final year? With a pass rate set at 30%for matric hell we actually proud of creating a dumb nation and to crown it all are over the moon with distinctions. Internationally they'll be lucky to be successful. The matriculants of the 70's to before the the pass required rate was lowered should be then be seen as Geniuses.
