The City of Cape Town’s mobile office will be taking municipal services to Tambo Square Community Centre in Manenberg and Erasmus Hall in Scottsville this week.

During the course of the visits, residents in these areas will ‘have access to a wide range of non-emergency enquiries,’ which will include rates, sewage, electricity, water, refuse collections and others.the Tambo Square Community Centre on the corner of Oliver Tambo and Silverstream Road, Manenberg.

The following day, on Friday, 15 March, from 9:30am to 1:30pm, the office will be open for services at the FF Erasmus Hall at 9 Aandblom Street in Peerless Park West, Scottsville. Residents with ‘logging queries and service requests’ will be assisted electronically by the City’s Customer Relations Department’s mobile team.

‘The City’s mobile office team has been quite helpful in resolving outstanding queries for residents,’ said Mayoral Committee Member for Corporate Services Alderman Theresa Uys. ‘This further drives us to ensure that we continue taking these services closer to residents and ask that those who are in Manenberg and Scottsville take up this opportunity,’ Theresa added.
