A local football agent is threatening of taking legal action against Chippa United for the alleged non-payment of his player’s salary.
After featuring in 16 matches last season and aiming for consistency, having amassed a whopping 28 appearances in the previous campaign, Maloisane Mokhele was disrupted on his progress by the injury which he suffered in March and was ruled out for the season.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management, confirmed preparing to go the legal route against the Chilli Boys over the matter. “I can confirm that Maloisane Mokhele hasn’t been paid his salary at Chippa United for the past month and it is so disappointing,” confirmed Mulovhedzi.“I have made all the attempts to communicate with the club about this, but I have been unsuccessful, and I am now left with no choice but to report the matter to the PSL DRC. But before doing so, I would like to plead with the club’s chairman Mr.
Attempts have been made to get a comment from Chippa as well as through the club’s media department, the Siya crew’s enquiries were directed to executive director Lukhanyo Mzinzi who could not be reached for comment.
