Many Universities do not equip their law students with sufficient critical thinking skills, according to the Council on Higher Education.

The Council on Higher Education's report, found many universities don't equip their law students with sufficient critical thinking skills. CourtesyJOHANNESBURG - A new report highlights a range of shortcomings in the Bachelor of Laws programme taught at 17 universities in the country.

The Council on Higher Education's report, found many universities don't equip their law students with sufficient critical thinking skills."Indeed the findings were that there were shortcomings and these shortcomings were referred back to the universities...together in a partnership between the CHE and the universities", said Universities South Africa CEO, Professor Ahmed Bawa.
