Cele announces special safety plan for festive season Police Minister Bheki Cele together along with Tourism Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi- Ngubane has announced a special comprehensive tourist safety plan this festive season.

Minister Bheki Cele briefed the media following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Tourism Ministry in Pretoria.together along with Tourism Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi- Ngubane has announced a special comprehensive tourist safety plan this festive season.Part of the joint strategy will focus on crime hot spots at the coast and some inland provinces like Gauteng and Mpumalanga.

Minister Cele briefed the media following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Tourism Ministry in Pretoria. “One major input will be along the coastal provinces come the holiday times as we know that life moves there during this time.” “With the exception, Mpumalanga where there’s a lot of incidents, we had some arrests. And also Gauteng which in the past there have been the problems with criminals following tourists from the airports.”
