The 22-year-old penned a two-year contract extension at the Primeira Liga club in Portgual but was not included in the first-team squad for the 2022/23 season with indications that he might be loaned out or stay with the Braga B team.

Kodisang has already started training for the new season with Braga's B side as he was excluded from the first team’s plans for pre-season, with a loan move on the cards. “He played well for Braga B side in Portugal, and he even got a chance to play in the first team. I know the boy is pushing very hard, and I always encourage players to stay in Europe, try and stay there as long as you can; he is only 22, and he is likely to get seen by more people.
