Capito replaces Roberts as Williams F1 team principal

Last December Capito was appointed CEO of the team, who were dominant in the 1980s and 1990s but have not won a race since 2012, and he started work at the Grove factory in February.

They have not scored a point since July 2019 and are last in the 10-team championship after six races. “Simon has played an integral role in managing the transition over the last 12 months and I would like to thank him for his great contribution during that time,” Capito said in a statement.
