Kids need to follow the rules, why is that so hard?

So kids (aware that teachers/parents can’t touch them) can now literally push the boundary like the kid who rammed her desk into the teacher, who gut-reaction klapped her? Jesus Christ that kid would be minus her wig & have a black eye, fat lip & missing all teeth if it were me.
