Britain's health regulator authorised a Covid-19 vaccine for infants on Tuesday.Britain's health regulator on Tuesday authorised a Covid-19 vaccine for infants as young as six months, opening the door for vaccinating the country's youngest children once the UK's Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation agrees.

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency authorised the vaccine - made by Pfizer and BioNTech - for children aged six months to four years old, after it was deemed safe and effective based on an ongoing clinical trial involving 4 526 participants. Whether the vaccine is eventually deployed in this age group depends on a recommendation from the JCVI, which advises UK health departments on which shots should be used as part of the national vaccination programme.

The vaccine is tailored for use in this age group - it is a lower dose version than the one used in children aged five to 11 years. It is given as three injections in the upper arm, with the first two doses given three weeks apart, followed by a third dose administered at least two months after the second dose.

US officials rolled out this version of the Pfizer-BioNTech shot for the same age group earlier this year. Months ago, EU regulators also endorsed the use of Covid-19 vaccines made by Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna for under-fives.In times of uncertainty you need journalism you can trust. We’re not allowing this BS in SA.

Any parent who allows there kids to get this dangerous jab is mad in the head. This is not going to be good.

Who in there right mind would give infants that poison..

People just wanna run Business neh, 😂😂😂😂😂

ChrisWaldburger There appears to be a war on infants. Have read a couple of studies citing big increases in stillborns and neonatal deaths occurring in vaccinated mothers. Also seems to be an uptick in births with deformities. Vaccinating infants? This is not good news.

They must not bring that nonsense here. We are fine with our infants.

Exterminating children as young as six months old, you mean. Bill Gates is on video saying vaccination will be used to lower the global population because we are fast approaching 9 billion people. And here we go…

Wooow..Balenciaga vibes

Just don't...thank me later

YIKES

Lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. I guess its to screw them from infancy🥺

Amasimba lawo 😡
