Kaizer Chiefs star Given Msimango is making headlines after Mzansi connected the dots about his age against the backdrop of his birthday.

The star recently turned a year older, and fans have taken to social media to celebrate his birthday.Kaizer Chiefs also took to social media to pen a heartfelt message for the star. Taking to Instagram, the Soweto giants posted, “Shout out to @given_msimango on your special day today. Happy birthday! We hope that you will have an amazing day.”No doubt the post has since gained thousands of comments and reactions since it dropped on the internet. However, fans were puzzled Given Msimango’s age.

Many fans were more than convinced that he knew how to look fit and sharp as an athlete. After all, how old is Given Msimango? TheThe Kaizer Chiefs defender has since become a darling of many fans. His leadership abilities have seen him wearing the captain’s armband. However, Given Msimango’s early career is unknown. He had his senior career debut with Highlands Park. During the 2022 season, he reportedly starred in 30 Premier League fixtures. Rumour mill said he had a physical coach to monitor his performance. He went on to become the club’s captain before heAgainst his move to Kaizer Chiefs, the TS Galaxy owner revealed why Given Msimango was sold. During his transfer move, he was one of the best players from the TS Galaxy squad of 2022.

“We are realistic as well regarding our business model and how we will build and continue building this business model. Part of the model, of course, will be to follow the likes of Tottenham Hotspur,” he said.Given Msimango seems to be the next Kaizer Chiefs captain. Undoubtedly, there hasn’t been a consistent leader in the team since Itumeleng Khune’s suspension. However, Msimango has been wearing the captain’s armband after taking over from Keagan Dolly and Yusuf Maart.

“I know how to push the guys and try to get the best out of them at training and on the pitch,” he added.
