“Fully vaccinated” will soon mean three rather than two vaccinations. In SA people who have had two doses of Pfizer vaccine are now eligible for a third dose, while 12 to 17-year-olds can get a second dose. Pfizer/BioNTech’s research shows two doses of its vaccine are less effective against the Omicron variant than three doses.

Pfizer Covid-19 booster shots get the nod in SASAHPRA confirmed that it had approved the 'optional third (booster) dose' of the Covid-19 vaccine after Pfizer had applied for approval. Omicron variant discovered a week or so ago. Pfizer is claiming they’ve already done a study showing their booster is effective against it. Everything gets a nod in SA as long as it comes from western countries. They can't say no and they know why and what they signed for.
