Now a new book has really lifted the lid on the backstage battles involving the cast of Grey’s Anatomy – and the person who comes off worst is Patrick Dempsey, the actor who plays Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd. How to Save a Life: The Inside Story of Grey’s Anatomy by Lynette Rice paints him more like McInsufferable and it was his behaviour that led to his character dying in a fiery car crash. We pull back the curtains.
