"Bhele" remains the PSL's all-time top goal scorer and enjoyed a fruitful career both locally and abroad, earning the KwaMashu-born former footballer legendary status in KwaZulu Natal sport. KZN's biggest sport stars were celebrated at the KZN Sport Awards over the weekend, staged by the provincial government at the Durban International Convention Centre.
Nomvethe, who enjoyed a successful career playing for the likes of Udinese, Empoli, Aarlborg BK, and both Soweto giants among other teams, is one of the best athletes KwaZulu Natal has ever produced.
