Stellies are on a nine-match winless run that’s seen the side fall down to position 15 on the DStv Premiership log table and Barker believes the upcoming clash against Cape Town City is the best opportunity to bounce back.
"There’s no better game than at home, in a Derby at Danie Craven [Stadium] on a Friday evening for us to turn things around and we’ve traditionally done well against Cape Town City," the 55 year old coach said. "I’m expecting a big massive game on Friday and trusting that we can change things around and get a win because I think that’s what we need right now.
"Besides today, It’s not like we can’t win watches, we can win, we put ourselves in positions where we can win matches. It’s just maybe the confidence and the belief just disappears the longer you don’t get a win. So. It’s a massive game for us.
