In a letter to Minister in the Presidency Mondli Gungubele, Holomisa claimed that he was approached by concerned senior staff members of the department.Staffers raised concerns about the circumstances that led to Moemi's appointment. "As I understand it, Mr Moemi was brought on board from the Department of Transport, where he was a director-general, but his contract was not renewed. In October 2021, Moemi was appointed deputy director-general: facilities at the Department of Public Works and Infrastructure," Holomisa said."In January 2022, Moemi was made deputy director-general for the property management and trading entity.
