The Absa L’Atelier Awards date back 37 years and have launched some of the country’s most talented and most revolutionary artists. On Thursday, 2 November, the 2022–2023 winners displayed some of their best work at their final exhibition for the year in Johannesburg, which will run until the end of January 2024 before they set off on an escapade that will give them international exposure.
