The fiercely contentious vote was held at 4am after a marathon debate that lasted through the night. In a vote of 38-29 with one abstention, the senate backed the government proposal to allow terminations through the 14th week of pregnancy. The lower house had already approved it this month. “We did it sisters. We made history. We did it together. There are no words for this moment, it passes through the body and the soul,” tweeted Monica Macha, a legislator with President Alberto Fernandez’s centre-left ruling coalition.

After the vote, thousands of the bill’s opponents dispersed, wiping away tears as a speaker from a makeshift stage told them: “We are witnessing a defeat of life. But our convictions do not change. We are going to make ourselves heard.”

Trump Finally you wake out of slumber. Trump's genius was to allow you to take him as a fool. He knew his chances weren't good and Republicans aren't gonna be in charge for ever. Great move, among many that you will soon wake up to.

ANC makes new recommendations on the contentious step aside policy | CitypressThe ANC’s step aside provisions must be carefully considered in the context of the objective realities of the administration of justice in South Africa, in which a criminal trial may take a decade or longer to conclude. The African National Corruption makes recommendations at conferences about nothing tangible at massive expense then carries on stealing and looting until the next conference and then steals and loots some more until the next one. I think Ive got it now. In other words: a criminal cannot step aside from his criminal activities in a criminal organisation like MYANC while other criminals are still perpetuating criminal activities.
