ANC vs MK Party logo dispute: Ruling party says judge 'erred' as it appeals 'whole order'

The ANC believes the MK Party's logo bears similarities to that of its military wing, uMkhonto weSizwe .

The ANC is seeking to appeal a KwaZulu-Natal High Court in Durban ruling, which dismissed the governing party's application to bar former president Jacob Zuma's uMkhonto weSizwe Party from using its uMkhonto weSizwe brand's likeness. In a notice of appeal, the ANC argued Judge MR Chetty erred in framing the case as one centred on voter confusion at the ballot box.
