ANC manipulated elections like they did in 2014 - Malema

JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress manipulated the 2019 general elections and did not secure an outright majority in Gauteng, Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema said on Thursday.

He said as a "peace loving" organisation, the EFF has accepted the provincial results and would work hard to unseat the ANC. The EFF garnered 14.69% in Gauteng and the DA 27.45% while the ANC won by 50.19%. The firebrand politician criticised the Independent Electoral Commission of SA's election management, urging the commission to improve its systems before the 2021 local government polls.

''We are going to replace them and we are not going to apologise over that. We are not going to be sitting with dead wood...useless members of Parliament who add no value, in the same we are going to replace these EFF councillors who are useless. I went to the Free State and found a councillor on maternity leave for 12 months...in the EFF there consequences for non-performance."

Of course they did, ANC has zero integrity, corrupt to the core. Watch how Ramaphosa will keep the corrupt officials in power.

As if they wouldn't have done the same had the shoe been on the other foot. It is the nature of politics
