The former secretary-general had been found guilty of misconduct after he tried to get President Cyril Ramaphosa suspended from the ANC in 2021.The party's National Disciplinary Committee last week gave him seven days to explain why he should not be kicked out of the party.
Political analyst Levy Ndou believes Magashule should have cooperated with the committee."Anything is possible. Politicians are very difficult to retire from politics. So if he has been in politics for a greater period in his life, the possibility is that we might not lose him because that is where he actually belongs."
