South African golfer Pieter Moolman harbours ambitions of cracking the world's top 100 golfers as he searches for his first win of the season.

Losing are part of the game - regardless of whether you had a great round - and as it becomes increasingly difficult to win, golfers must learn to adapt early on. That is the mindset required.

"When you're playing well, you enjoy the game a lot more because the golf game is there. When the golf game is not really there, you need to keep your focus on where you want to end up," Moolman told News24. Instead, he will make his 17th DP World Tour appearance when he competes in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews.

"If you're struggling here [on the Sunshine Tour], you can still make cuts, but if you're struggling there, you're not making anything.
