Prince Azenathi Dalindyebo says he's positive that the Abathembu King will be home very soon.
ABATHEMBU KINGDOM - AbaThembu spokesperson Chief Zwelenqaba Mgudlwa says President Cyril Ramaphosa hasn't been given an ultimatum to release their king. Mgudlwa denies the AbaThembu Kingdom intends to urge people not to vote on 8 May. In fact, they urge all AbaThembu people to exercise their constitutional.It was earlier reported that AbaThembu voters threatened to boycott the election if their monarch isn't pardoned.
King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo is serving a 12-year sentence for kidnapping, arson, assault and defeating the ends of justice.Acting king Azenathi Dalindyebo said he's positive that the king will be home very soon and he will step down.
So earlier report were suggesting that these people were going to abandon their constitutional right of voting in order to lobby for a convicted criminal. It would have been a sad day in the so called South African Democracy.
