Chief Electoral Officer Sy Mamabolo says the IEC and Eskom are working together to ensure that blackouts don't happen.

South Africans will head to the polls on 1 November. "All efforts are being made to ensure that we do not experience load-shedding next week until the results are declared," Mamabolo said.
