A $5,000,000 contract aimed at fixing up a seven mile stretch of Zarzamora has some excited for what’s to come and others confuse don why they found out about it from our calls.

“It's only my son and I that actually is involved in this gym, because we take big pride in our work,” Tambora said. “We don't have any bike lanes at all, not only in front of my storefront, but throughout Zarzamora. So, it's pretty dangerous with that alone,” Tambora said. It's part of the reason the city of San Antonio believes it's time to fix up seven miles of the road.

“The entire project is trying to do is try to create that really seamless, safe corridor to be able to continue to access the bus traffic,” David McBeth with San Antonio’s Public Works said.
