YouTuber Nikki Phillippi Faces Criticism After Putting Family Dog Down Over Aggressive Behavior - E! Online

has come under fire after announcing her family dog was put down.

The social media star, whose YouTube channel has amassed more than 1 million subscribers, announced the news on Monday, May 4, revealing that they put down the animal named Bowser after it bit their young son,. "McTrowsen, I'm so grateful for our time with you. You were a mini horse, a shark, a bear, a mouse, a dinosaur and Dans best friend all in one," she began her Instagram post, which featured photos of her, husbandand their son with the dog over the years.

Reflecting on their experience, Nikki wrote, "Bowser had an aggressive side that reared it's ugly head a few times over the years... and recently he bit Logan....after a lot of counsel, we decided it was time for Bowser to pass peacefully on."She acknowledged how the news would strike many of their followers. "I know a lot of you will be shocked to hear this... my brain is still shocked. McTrowsen has been part of our life and content HIS entire life...

YouTube you better not let them cash their latest check. They should not be paid for animal cruelty and you should demonetize them completely.

😱😡so wrong on so many levels. This has to stop. Animals suffer in silence. Don't take in an animal if you cannot take the time to care for them. If you lash put should the same be done to you? Animals lash out for a reason. Its not random. So disappointed and hurt.

I don't even know who these people are but this is Soo disgusting. Maybe not leave a stupid child with an aggressive dog? Ofc he's gonna bite it. Still not a reason to put it down. It would've better to.goce the dog the organization or a dog asylum for adoption or something.

They are sick. They have tons of money but no mention of training, trying to rehome, giving him to a rescue etc. the son took food out of his mouth that’s why he bit. No boundaries. & to have a photoshoot (WITH THE BABY) and then to profit off his murder by putting out a video…

I had a dog that wasn’t very kind. I didn’t want to put him down, he ended up seriously injuring a neighbor and we got in lots of trouble. So what’s right for your situation
