Wojcicki, a high-profile Silicon Valley executive, faced a skeptical crowd at the annual conference for tech and media professionals. When Ina Fried, a journalist from Axios, suggested during a question-and-answer period that Wojcicki wasn't actually sorry, the audience greeted the question with applause.
Last week, YouTube said it would begin banning videos promoting Nazi ideology and those denying "well-documented violent events" such as the Holocaust or the Sandy Hook massacre. Interviewer Peter Kafka, senior correspondent for digital tech website Recode, which hosted the conference, pressed Wojcicki on whether she was sorry, or just sorry that people expressed offense. Wojcicki apologized again.
Recode No they don't 🤣
Recode SusanWojcicki
Recode No it doesn't!! YouTube is more like the wild west; they shoot first and ask questions later.

Recode LOL I’d have more respect for these progressives if they’d just confess that they’re intolerant and that they censor conservatives because they don’t agree with our viewpoints. Instead, they hide behind false claims of “hate speech” and “harassment“ to justify their position.
Recode and then does nothing.

NBCNews Not long ago taking down terrorist videos was also not youtube policy. I do get that taking down everything that is offensive to “somebody” will result in a YouTube with cute cat videos only. These tech companies have tough decisions to make.
NBCNews it is a bad move on Zuckerberg's part. creates more chaos and confusions and worth the laughters.
NBCNews If shes defends the videos then it's not an apology
NBCNews Yeah makes sense, you need to make the right decision for the company. If you take down this content then you have to take down all the other content that is similar. How many comedians would be taken down, how many late night shows, etc. ?
