A TikTok mansion in turmoil, YouTube rebrands FameBit, and the investors funding creator businesses

: Amanda Ramirez is part of a trend of YouTubers becoming famous for sharing their college experiences.The influencer-marketing platform Captiv8 tracked follower growth data on TikTok from the back part of February until the first week of June.Addison Rae Easterling took the lead in growth rate, and her follower count rose by 229%. Charli D'Amelio's follower growth came in second, with her count rising by 170%, according to Captiv8.

She started her YouTube channel in 2011 while she was in middle school and began to post videos consistently to her channel when she got to high school, she told Business Insider. "It's going to be way more popular in upcoming years for creators to have a product," she said. "If I'm working with a brand to promote something I use every day, why don't I just create my own?"
