Readers aren’t convinced about plans to build a tunnel from the San Antonio International Airport to downtown.Re: “Your Turn | Tunnel to downtown,” Monday:

If you folks think this is a good idea, I have some oceanfront property for sale cheap in Arizona. Guaranteed good views!I was gratified to see the excellent letters pointing out how absurd and ridiculously wasteful the Elon Musk “tunnel project” would be. It does make me wonder who is on this Alamo Regional Mobility Authority.

I hope the fine Express-News staff will investigate this matter more thoroughly and keep us informed.I have followed the news releases for the proposed airport to downtown connection. Thus far, I have not seen a convincing business case for this proposal.
