Thank you so much for publishing this piece by Michelle LoweSolis. In the midst of all the political stuff, it is easy to forget about all those kids who will be born into a state that really does not care.What a sad and disgraceful situation for Texas voters.

It would be interesting to know if ballots were also mailed to registered Democrats and if so, is the Texas Secretary of State’s Office forwarding those with the same urgency as the Republican ones or, maybe, just rejecting them.What a sad and disgraceful situation for us.Re: “Cruz, Roy trying again for a shutdown,” Front Page, Wednesday:

Once again, Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Chip Roy don’t represent the majority of Texans who want to try to end this crazy COVID situation. Both voted to reject the funding bill to implement COVID-19 mandates for the millions of federal workers.
