Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT As the end nears for Young Sheldon, Annie Potts tearfully says goodbye to Meemaw in a new video. Despite having six more episodes before it fully finishes, the cast and crew of The Big Bang Theory prequel are currently in the middle of saying goodbye to each other, with production wrapping just several days ago.
In the clip, Potts says that she is putting her "Meemaw make-up on" as she gets ready to shoot her final scene with Craig T. Nelson, who plays Dale in Young Sheldon. She thanks everyone from the cast and crew of Young Sheldon for seven amazing seasons of the series. Candidly, the legendary actor admits that she is sad to leave her friends but grateful for the opportunity to play such a beloved character.
As the couple continues their story via their Young Sheldon sequel series, it's only fitting that Meemaw becomes a part of that next chapter in their lives. In their darkest times, it was Connie who opened her home and took care of Mandy after she was shunned by her parents. Now that Meemaw needs help, this would be the perfect time to pay back everything she did for them. Sadly, it doesn't seem like CBS is planning on bringing any other member of the Cooper family to the new show.
