Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Starfield has no shortage of quests, but it's surprisingly easy to miss some of the best content that the game has to offer. The world of Starfield extends far beyond the scope of, well, a world, taking a galactic view of planets and people embroiled in tensions and conflict.
One other element that can sometimes get brushed aside within Starfield is space flight, which is less integral to the experience than might be expected. Fast travel is required to actually land on a surface, making the intermediary process of traveling into a planet's orbit seem generally unnecessary.
Space Encounters Have Variety In Starfield The feuding factions of Starfield are much more than a main story element, and space is one area where this plays out. Coming across battles between factions helps make conflicts feel more real, as well as offering choices on the fly about which combatant to support. Pirate ships can be captured for contraband, and innocents in trouble can be rescued.
Although the lack of a focus on long-distance space travel might still be a disappointment for some, the fact that Bethesda has crowded areas that explorers are likely to traverse with potential encounters does go a long way in making up for it. Ignoring this aspect of the game tosses aside some of its most interesting aspects, even if it makes racing through the main quest or certain side missions faster.
