A new “flip phone challenge” dares smartphone addicts to unplug for seven days.

Frontier Bundles, a Utah-based internet, phone and cable company, will give $1,000 to “one brave soul” willing to trade their smartphone for a flip phone for seven days.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens 18 and older willing to log how they spend their 168 hours with a “dumb” phone, such as tracking how long it takes them to text on a flip phone, as well as how many times they wish they could Google GOOG, +2.

But if billionaire investor Warren Buffett can do it, so can you. Even though his firm Berkshire Hathaway owns 5.5% of Apple AAPL, +2.68% — and the iPhone maker’s CEO Tim Cook has repeatedly tried to convert him to one of his smartphones, and offered to personally set one up for him — Buffett still uses a $20 Samsung SCH-U320.
