The Special Vehicle Engineering 2020 Yenko Camaro packs a customized 1,000-horsepower supercharged V8 engine..Chevrolet dealers are now offering deep-pocketed automotive enthusiasts a fleet-footed alternative to the coming mid-engine super-Corvette in the form of the 1,000-horsepower 2020 Yenko/SC Stage II Camaro from Specialty Vehicle Engineering. As with past SVE-custiomized Camaros production is limited.
As for the car, the Yenko-fied Camaro will pack a custom-built supercharged version of Chevy’s 6.8-liter LT1 V8 engine. Gearheads will want to know it features an aluminum block, upgraded crankshaft, rods, pistons, cylinder heads, fuel system, and injectors. There’s also a dual-mode custom stainless steel exhaust system, gun-metal or optional black-finish five-spoke wheels over red brake calipers, and 20-inch Michelin PS4S performance tires.
Cosmetic touches include a carbon fiber hood, hood and side stripes, assorted exterior badges, and logoed floormats, headrests, side sills, and key fobs. You can get it in any of 10 factory paint colors with nine hues available for the hood and side stripes, and there’s custom colors available for the supercharger and brake calipers.
The Yenko/SC Stage II Camaro is based on the vehicle’s 1SS or 2SS trim with the 1LE option, which means it includes Magnetic Ride Control, an electronic limited-slip differential, a performance-tuned suspension, a heavy-duty cooling system, and Recaro sport seats. It will only be available with a manual transmission. The custom engineering is covered by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.
The performance enhancing package costs $69,000, but that's not including the price of a new Camaro. And about that catch. According to the fine print on the company’s website, “The Yenko/SC 1000HP vehicle package is not emission legal in California, and can only be legally used while participating in sanctioned motorsports racing events.” But it's all systems go otherwise.
There is no such thing as too much horsepower.
It also waste precious fuel and no just because the owner can afford it doesnt make it right..
Increíble que en pleno siglo 21 se construyan monstruos anti ecológicos
Stupid California, ruining everything!

Two miles per gallon?
What's the point if it's a track car only?
From 0-60 in 'OMG I think I'm Going to Die'
