If you insist on going"old century" and paying cash, officials direct you to a handful of stores in the city to pay in person.

This is crazy. They should by law have to accept all forms of payment. This picking & choosing is crazy. It has always been crazy but there are more ppl affected now. Before it was mostly income who were inconvenienced.
It costs consumers way too much money! Many businesses in my town are cash only, and the charge for withdrawals is not cost effective! When will consumers have rights once again, in the USA! FTC

We’re Ditching The ‘Gift Opening’ Birthday Party Tradition“I don’t want to open my presents at the party,” my daughter told me. We have pretty much stopped this a couple years ago. Especially if you are doing a party at a place other then your home. Most party places don't allow time for it in your 'party room time' unless you want to make everyone inhale their pizza and cake. I'd love to, but we have our party in our backyard and it's full of older relatives - expecting to watch their present being opened. Which I also understand. But my kids just want to run around and play with their friends and cousins...
