But the tragic beauty of DeVos’s revisions to Title IX enforcement is that it has and will create a movement of student organizers that will fight for radical change — the students least likely to be seen as survivors. A legion of black and brown queer folks are educating themselves on campuses across the country to educate the masses on how this rule will infringe on their right to an equitable education. Work that is always held up by the most marginalized and later co-opted by those who are allowed to be victims. Or not. Even the U.S. Senate considered the most ideal victim, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, unworthy.
