Former employees of U.S. Navy contractor Kanto Kosan say it has been dumping sewage and other waste into three Japanese harbors for a decade. The company denies it.

The Justice Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Navy are looking into whether Kanto Kosan Co. pumped waste into three Japanese ports since 2008 and then covered it up in violation of contracts, and into whether Navy staff in Japan ignored complaints about it,.
