WSJ News Exclusive | Grand Canyon Stays Open During Coronavirus Pandemic Despite Pleas to Close

The Grand Canyon has stayed open during the coronavirus pandemic despite closures of most other major national parks and support for such a move by local officials, the nearby Navajo reservation, an Arizona congressman and even the park’s superintendent and the director of the National Park Service.

It is obvious that population density is a primary factor...using current data as a guide. There should be no requirement for a rancher or farmer to lock themselves in their homes. Physical distancing is fine, but your rules for the pigsties don’t apply to more open spaces.
