As Michael Keaton's famous 'Let's get nuts' line gets highlighted in the latest The Flash trailer, fans are divided on how the quote is used.

Michael Keaton's "Let's get nuts" line gets mixed reactions from the latest The Flash trailer. The Flash movie is less than two months away from finally arriving in theaters. Loosely based on the Flashpoint comic book storyline, the film will dive into the multiverse, which will shepherd in the return of Keaton's Batman. This will be the first time since 1992's Batman Returns that Keaton dons the suit.

In the recently released The Flash movie trailer, one key moment features Keaton dropping his "Let's get nuts" line from 1989's Batman, which became an iconic quote in the decades since. However, fans are divided on The Flash movie's homage to that line, as not everyone is thrilled with the usage. Check out several social media reactions below:

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Why Batman Fans Are Divided On Keaton's Line Part of the divisiveness may come down to there being different generations of fans with relationships to Keaton's Batman. For people who grew up with his iteration of Batman, the line being used again may mean something to them as that was one of the highlights of the first movie.

Another criticism of the line being used in The Flash trailer is Keaton's delivery and the context of the scene. In the original Batman, Keaton's Bruce Wayne was attempting to appear unhinged, but the version said in The Flash seems to be attempting a more serious tone, which doesn't necessarily fit the character of Batman. Some of the reactions allude to the line feeling forced and not making sense, though that may be because the scene is taken out of context in the trailer.

No matter what, there will always be aspects of any movie that will divide audiences, as everyone has their own preferences. Hopefully, even if Keaton's "Let's get nuts" line doesn't work with some, they will still be able to enjoy his return as Batman. As The Flash movie approaches its release date, time will tell how audiences respond to the film as a whole.
