The park is getting more and more expensive.

In short, because some Disney fans, many of whom haven’t been able to return in years because of the pandemic, think it’s worth the added expense.

For Jennifer Wilke of Modesto, Genie Plus was worth the cost. “We loved all the photos!” she told SFGATE. “And being able to get return times for many of our favorites was awesome. We often planned our day around shorter lines.” Wilke and her family have used Genie Plus several times, most recently in February at Walt Disney World and March in Disneyland. “I especially liked taking an afternoon break and then checking return times and finding rides we could just go walk on,” she said.on May 19. “The genie + was definitely worth it and I love the mobile orders for food.”Travel planner Kari Becker recently took a $4,000 VIP tour at Walt Disney World and had nothing but positives to say about the experience.

With summer kicking off, Disneyland is heading into what promises to be a huge summer season, but it remains to be seen how inflation and rising costs could put a crimp in its earnings. The company, however, only sees promise. “Looking ahead to the third quarter,” McCarthy said, “our forward-looking demand pipeline at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland remains robust.”
