Worried about paying your bills? Here's who would qualify for a second $1,200 stimulus check

released on the heels of last week's proposal, the qualifications to receive another stimulus check mirror what was passed back in March under the CARES Act.Individuals earning a gross adjusted income up to $75,000 per year in 2019 would receive the full $1,200. From there, the checks would be reduced by $5 for every $100 in income, phasing out completely at $99,000.

Couples earning a gross adjusted income up to $150,000 per year in 2019 would receive the full $2,400. From there, the checks would be reduced by $5 for every $100 in income, phasing out completely at $198,000. Individuals with dependents would receive an additional $500 for each dependent of any age. Under the CARES Act, dependents had to be under 17 years of age. Democrats proposed raising dependent pay to $1,200 for each and capping it at three dependents per household.

Individuals with no income and those whose income comes from programs such as SSI benefits would still be eligible for the full rebate amount.
