“Devin” can handle the entire software developing process from cradle-to-grave, freeing up humans to be more creative with their time.Cognition, an artificial intelligence technology startup, has just unveiled what is being called the world’s first-ever AI software developer.

Human users can type a natural language prompt into “Devin’s” chatbot-style interface, and the AI software engineer will take it from there. From there, it has been reported that “Devin” will create a detailed plan to solve the problem step-by-step.
