Wierd. When women go to college in greater percentages than men (even though both men and women also increased college attendance overall), it's worthy of a WSJ jeramiad. But when women leave men behind in having way cleaner homes, WSJ isn't so worried about the lost & dirty men?

there are two sides to this same coin. While there is this wrong belief that 'women should do housework', there also exists a wrong belief that 'men should provide'. This kind of study does not address the problem as a whole - just the parts that are useful to their rhetoric.
