Although it may not be fair, or accurate, women in many industries are told their opportunities, and their success, will only dwindle as they get older. And, as women continue to break through those stereotypes, many of our favorite celebrities, from Salma Hayek to Jane Fonda, are proving there’swhen she received an honorary Palme d’Or, for example, Streep said getting older in the industry was always a fear.
“Thirty-five years ago, when I was here for the first time, I was already a mother of three. And, much like Streep, many other stars over 40 showed up to Cannes proving they’re careers and record-breaking success are only beginning.
