Laura Bryant was in northeast Fresno, California, on Saturday night when she attempted to cross a busy street to get her family some food at McDonalds but, according to detectives, she didn’t use the crosswalk and poor lighting made it difficult for her to be seen. Bryant was in the third lane of the road when she was struck by a car. The impact of getting hit then sent her into the middle lane where she was struck by a second passing vehicle. Bryant was declared dead at the scene.

Prayers for this family. May God bless them during this tragic time.
The family still didn’t have a chance to eat Macdonald bc she died, now was it worth for her to loose her life over food something a person can buy anywhere now those same family is mourning her loss
Sad God bless her
Someone Jay-walked on a busy street to get McDonalds and got ran over. Not only is your title misleading but it's not even news. You guys suck.
Sad. People can't slow down for the conditions around them. Every driver should be held to the same standards that professional drivers are held to. I have 3M+ miles under my belt and had 1 accident in all my driving career. It was a car that came over the highway, hit me head on
How does this happen? Cars don't come out of nowhere like a Roadrunner cartoon. Serious question, was this woman legally blind or on drugs?
Lol. She ran across a street like Frogger 🐸 to get McDonald’s and ended up killing herself. Darwinism
Truly sad. Horrific for the driver's too I'm sure. What was second driver thinking I wonder?
God rest her soul!🙏
Should have looked both ways...lmao.
People use a crosswalk and use a flashlight in dim areas. Common sense goes a long ways...
Hope the cops catch the driver of the second car - no excuse to commit a hit-and-run!
'died after being struck and killed'? Just how does one die after being killed? Tragic story and writing.
'died after being struck and killed' ? How is one killed after dying. Tragic story.... and writing.
So sad
The headline writer needs a bit more coffee. ☕️
This tweet makes it sound like the cars were racing to get McDonald's. Which I get, because the McRib is back.
Cars can’t run
According to this study, Fresno is among the most dangerous places in the U.S to be a pedestrian. Possible the woman crossed unsafely, but just as possible there was no safe place to cross, drivers may have been speeding, etc...
Maximum Overdrive
McDonalds strikes again.
Fast food kills you slowly, unlike fast cars.
The basics people. Kindergarten.. Look both ways. The average vehicle weighs between 2,000 - 6,000 lbs at 40 mph the kenetic energy released during a collision is enough force to break a steel i-beam in half. Driving is the most dangerous thing you will do everyday of your life.
So the two cars were getting the mcds for her family and somehow 😳
that’s a crappy McPick Two
The cars were running across the street? Strange.
Hope it wasn't happy meals cause.. you know..
