He committed suicide in 2015. His death led to nationwide criminal justice reform. Holy shit that story is heartbreaking. How have I not heard about this before? How about making health care more accessible to millions of ordinary taxpayers that were priced out of the market with the 'Affordable' Care Act? This is awesome, hopefully this will include mental health evaluations and medication. When i see many of the homeless on the NYC subway each day its obvious we need more of this.
