Denver police are investigating a homicide Monday in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood after officers found a woman with gunshot wounds.

The incident occurred near 22nd Street and Arapahoe Street, police wrote on Twitter. The woman, who has not been identified, was transported to the hospital, where she later died.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward. UPDATE: The victim in this shooting incident has been pronounced deceased. This is now being investigated as a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call
