Wolcott, N.Y. — A woman faces charges for a crash last year that killed a 5-year-old boy and injured five other children last summer in Wayne County. Police said Kayla Perrotta, then 28, of Oswego, was westbound on Younglove Road just before 5 p.m. Aug. 4, 2022, when she lost control of her vehicle, which rolled over and went into a creek.
Of the seven passengers, police said three were ejected, two got themselves out and two needed to be pulled from the vehicle.Perrotta and four other passengers, ranging in age from 10-17, had less-serious injuries. Following an investigation, New York State Police have charged Perrotta with two counts of second-degree assault and third-degree assault.Loading ...
