A vehicle passenger died Sunday night after their impaired driver crashed into a ditch.

A woman has been charged with intoxication manslaughter after a Sunday evening crash killed the person in her truck passenger seat.

The driver, Pamela Reed, 59, is accused of being impaired during the crash and is facing charges, Harris County Sheriff officials said.While driving around 5:25 p.m. in the 8500 block of Hadden Road, her Ford F-150 failed to stay in one lane and went off the roadway, the Sheriff’s Office posted. The car then got back on the road and began to spin, before exiting the roadway and crashing into a ditch.
