United Airlines flight lands with missing panel believed to have fallen mid-flightA United Airlines flight landed with a missing panel from the plane, believed to have fallen mid-flight. The missing panel was discovered when the plane was being parked. The plane was a Boeing 737 that left San Francisco International Airport for Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport in Medford, Oregon. United Airlines said a thorough examination of the plane will be conducted and perform needed repairs before it returns to service. An investigation will also be done to understand what caused the panel to fall off. Rouge Valley International-Medford Airport's Director Amber Judd said the plane landed safely and without incident, and the missing panel was discovered during a routine post-flight inspection.
